Solitaire Sunshine is an offline card game. It requires no account, shows no advertising, and does not sell or share data for advertising purposes.
What stays on your device
Your current game, statistics, daily challenge history, language, sound setting and reminder setting are stored locally. They never leave the phone and are removed when you uninstall the app.
The daily challenge leaderboard is computed on the device: the opponents shown are generated from the date and are not real people. No score is transmitted.
What is sent
If you leave "Share usage statistics" enabled, the game sends usage events to PostHog, hosted in the European Union, through a relay we operate on our own domain.
Each event contains only:
- the event name, from the list below;
- a few game measurements: duration, move count, score, draw mode;
- the operating system, its version, and the app version;
- a random identifier generated on first launch.
That identifier is not derived from any device characteristic. No advertising identifier is read. Your IP address is not transmitted: the relay strips it and geolocation is disabled, so we know neither your country nor your location.

Opting out
Open Settings in the game and turn off "Share usage statistics". Sending stops immediately, and the random identifier along with any pending events are erased from the device.
Notifications
The daily reminder is scheduled locally by the operating system. No notification server is involved and no token is transmitted.
Children
The game is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Retention and your rights
Events are retained by PostHog on the publisher's behalf. Because they are not tied to any identity, we cannot locate one person's data from a description alone; turning off sharing does remove the link on the device. Contact us with any question.
